German Prador Moon

I've just received copies of the German translation of Prador Moon. Very nice, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with them. I need more German friends I guess!

Ticklers?

Roll your own. I've no idea why they are called that but my father and grandfather both used the term. So it could be a Scottish term or the forces.

well, I'm not exactly German and I generally read every book in it's original language but my mothers tongue is German - but rest assured - Prador Moon sounds much nicer then Prador Mond :)

Best Regards from Switzerland
Roger

I know roll-up, rollie, coffin nail, gasper, cancer stick etc but I've never heard that one before, Phil.

How would At the Edge of the Sand be in German, Roger - the orginal title.

Am Rande des Sandes.
At the Edge of the sand.

I'm not Roger but I just couldn't resist...

That does scan better, Evil, though, come to think of it, it might have been On the Edge of the Sand...

A bit off-topic: I'm having a great time reading Prador Moon, Neal (have already received The Shadow of the Scorpion, The Line of Polity, Brass Man and Polity Agent, from Amazon), it's a great read.
